Let's discuss:
1. Kris Allen had the task to take on "Apologize" by One Republic. He did aw-ight.. I wanted more from him on this song. I was really looking for some impressive interpretation, but it was just so so. I was about ready to write him off. Then he took on a Kanye West song,, what?? "Heartless" is so not an acoustic guitar song,, or is it? He blew me away with his confidence on the stage during this performance and his ability just knock it out of the park. It even made Simon wonder who was really going to be in the finals with Adam.
2. Now Danny had the opportunity to sing Paula's song by who the heck is Terence Trent D'arby?? Has anyone out there in the idol forum even heard of this crack pot? And the song,,, atrocious!! Dance Little Sister,,,? It was a dumb performance. I hated it. I hated the song. For his personal choice, of course he sang some sappy ballad from the '80's.. Joe Cocker's "You are so beautiful".... what a raspy bull crap song. I don't know what it is about this song,,, maybe because Joe Cocker is just a old bald yelling dude from the '80's. However, Danny did sing the song well with emotion and heart, and you just couldn't help but think of him singing about his wife. Will it be enough to save him?
3. Adam of course was the last singer of the night. And of course he got the best song from Simon. I love that Simon had to get permission from Bono himself to let Adam sing "One" by U2. This is one of my Top Ten songs of my life. In fact U2 has to be one of my favorite bands of all time... no doubt. So, this performance started out really impressive, not rock at all, but then went maybe, a bit over the top at the end when he broke into the chorus... I wanted him to pull back just a little bit, like he did with Mad World - still one of the best performances in 8 years history of the show. For Adam's final number he performed Aerosmith's "Cryin".... have we had an Aerosmith week yet? That would be a good one for sure. He did phenomenal... he held back, didn't screach too much, and he just amazes me by never ever making mistakes. Has he ever made a freaking mistake in his vocals?? Wow,,,,
So, Simon is really pushing the voters to dial in and text for Adam,, how blatantly obvious can we get. But he did however, leave the night open when he said that Kris was now giving Gokey a run for his money.Tonight's performance rankings for me:
1. Adam
2. Kris
3. Danny
Performing tonight will be Jordin Sparks, Katy Perry, and we find out who the bloody finalists are...... I can't wait. Next week is going to be so much fun! They always have really big stars to perform.

Ha! It was Kris and Adam. Can't wait for next week. Adam needs to go home--I'm just tired of his high pitched screech. But, he'll probably win. I love, love, love Kris. His song with the guitar was amazing. He is very musically talented and real!
I actually liked Kris better than Adam last night (on the second song anyway). I'm glad Danny went home. I don't even care who wins at this point. They'll both have big careers.
So we all know who deserves to win, who has the most talent, who will win, duh - Adam. But the big BUT was his performance Tuesday. "Cryin" made me want to cry. What an absolute train wreck! Seriously, don't touch Aerosmith. Don't get me wrong, Adam is way talented and entertaining but his performance was so over the top, way overrated. Much too much Adam screeching. Can you call that singing? The worst part was that the judges refuse to critique his actual performance. Simon even skipped right to the voting plug for him and no one talked about that specific song. Lame. This is a competition and they are judges. We need feedback ladies, not eyelashes batting. I swear, they all act starstruck whenever he appears. I will give him credit on "Whole Lotta Love" though. I'm a big Zep fan and that was awesome. Gokey go home!!! Your record would be as lame as Taylor Hicks. Who bought that? No genre that is appealing to the masses. Kris really sealed the deal Wednesday. Brilliant! America and Perry love Adam, he'll win for sure. It's been a good season.
I guess Kris's good looks won over danny's sad story! (although i think danny is attractive) I'm still surprised because in my opinion danny is the more talented singer. but adam is by far the most talented contestant i think American idol has ever seen! I still think the finale would have been funner if it was allison and adam! can't wait to see adam take the title next week!
