New Top 5

Well it looks like Lil and Anoop are adios amigos. This was exactly what needed to happen. In fact I'd say for the majority of the season everyone who deserved to get voted off, indeed was voted off. With one exception of Alexis Grace, man she went way too early.

So for the show, the disco medley, could have done without that! What in the world is up with pulling these people onto a stage that have not been there for 30 years? KC looked like he has been on the lazy-boy with one too many buckets of chicken. He couldn't even sing!

I actually thought the group number that Paula choreographed was a little fun to watch. She's still got those moves folks. I'm soooooo sick of Ford commercials.

I was massively disappointed in David Archuletta. His voice sounded flat, strained, and the song was pretty boring. He's so little out there. But, how can you fault little Archie? He's still so cute and likable that it wasn't so terrible to watch. I have read that next week's theme will be Songs from the "Rat Pack" - or Jazzy numbers by the likes of Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Frank Sinatra, etc. I sure hope to all heck that Matt Giraud does well, this is right up his alley. Possibilities include

Fly Me to the Moon
It Had to be You
Luck be a Lady
Come Fly with Me
New York New York
That's Amore
I've got you under my Skin
Strangers in the Night

FINALLY!!!! Let the real competition begin. I've been waiting all season for Lil to get the boot. What is wrong with America?? She came with so much hype and then not one good critique from the judges. Not one. Every performance fell way below even the judges expectations. Snoopy used to be so fun and energetic to watch. But lately he's been super depressing to watch. Paula was actually right for once - SMILE Anoop. He started taking it way too seriously and lost the fun we loved. BORING. Definately his time to go. Thank you America for keeping Matt in. Love that guy. I know he won't make it to the top 3 but he's got more talent then the two that went home. Peace out!

Lindsay is right. Matt did deserve to be saved before Lil and Anoop. I do think that Alexis Grace deserved that save out of everyone, though. Too bad she went home that first week and didn't make the tour. Poor girl. She really was amazing.

The BIG question is who is going to go home next week! That #4 seat is tricky. We all know that Adam is safe, and probably Kris, too. But between Matt, Allison, and Danny, it'll be tricky. Danny is getting a bit tiredsome. I actually think I'd like to see him leave next week. It will probably be Allison, though. If Matt has a good week (and he should with the theme), he'll be saved yet another week. That boy IS living on a prayer.

haha I get sick of the Ford commercials too! Any time they want to do away with those I'd be okay and sleep just fine.
